An enjoyable condensation of Michael Flanders and Donald Swann's three albums from the early '60s, Transport of Delight is a delightful listen that does a better job than some other compilations of providing an accurate overview of the duo's career. Many compilations focus primarily on the admittedly excellent At the Drop of a Hat, but the equally fine At the Drop of Another Hat is well represented here, featuring droll and witty gems like "The Gas-Man Cometh" (a song anyone who has had to undergo home renovations will appreciate) and the slyly trenchant "A Song of Patriotic Prejudice," which makes all the salient points of an entire early Phil Ochs record with none of the finger pointing.
