If you're like me and you just haven't got the time to read a bunch of books about global warming, or the ones you've checked out are way too depressing, THIS is the book to get. It's cogent, and wonderfully supplied with all the background you'll need to get your hands around the subject of global warming. I enjoyed reading about the history and politics of multinational efforts to control global warming. And, I enjoyed witnessing my own transformation as I leafed through the pages. This book is very engaging, not one to walk away from easily. Tokar's optimism is infectious. I no longer feel like the global warming crisis is a hopeless cause. I see now that the power to bring about change, to save this planet, lies within each of us and not solely in the hands of corporations or politicians. A great read for the student and for anybody wanting to create positive change in their community.
