I always enjoy her books and am always surprised at "who-done-it". The pace of the book is great and she gives the characters enough body to lead you to care about their lives. Of course the recipes are a nice surprise too. I have tried several of them, by the way,and I've really liked the ones I have tested. Her stories are not weighed down with a lot of cursing and "in your face" sex; she writes well enough that she doesn't need that to sell her books. I've bought almost all of her books and had enjoyed them all.
