This haphazardly assembled box set has quality music to spare, but lacks the thoughtful packaging and extras that listeners have come to expect from this format. Liner notes are limited to a decent but all-too-short article on the band's history. The rest of the skimpy booklet fails to offer any interviews or tributes to the Chi-Lites. Even worse, it doesn't even offer any production information or musician credits. Hardcore fans of the Chi-Lites will also be disappointed to discover that Too Good to Be Forgotten neglects ...
