Despite the reputation that some exercise CDs have for featuring boring or dated music, Tony Little's Fit Trax: Cardio Rock has both a tightly structured program and well-chosen rock and pop tracks to back it up. The tracks are broken down into warm-up, beginner, intermediate, advanced, super-advanced, and cool-down portions; each section of the album features some fairly hip if not especially new songs, ranging from aerobics staples like Technotronic's "Pump Up the Jam" and Bachman-Turner Overdrive's "Takin' Care of Business" in the beginner part of the workout to slightly more creative choices like the Spencer Davis Group's "Gimme Some Lovin'" in the advanced section.
