So you kept up with Celeste through the earthquake and subsequent goings on at St. Anne in book One. Lora and the author enjoyed your company. Now mutatis mutandis wait till you see the comings and goings in Two! Though you'd think a woman of Celeste's age might wish or even try to get everyone to stay put, Celeste proves game for whatever comes St. Anne's way next. Some of you have asked "How's Aggie doing?" Aggie's there all right, sole munchkin at St. Anne, and as you'll see getting along just fine: Aggie would grow up believing upside-down diapers and feet in sleeper armholes, normal, all a part of the fun. It takes a bit, just being at St. Anne to see how a wee babe can latch onto profound and feathery, at once. We'd better get on now. Celeste, Regoire, Lorena and Chet, Sadie, Stuart, Delaney and all at St. Anne are heading off through the lane, this time mostly out, even 'across the pond.'
