There is also a two-part supplement. The first part guides the reader through the mass of material published on Hardy by providing an annotated bibliography of key works that expand or update the information supplied by Purdy. The second part draws upon the contributions of a number of Hardy scholars in identifying errors in the book as originally published and significant bibliographical information that has become available since that time.
