The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in good condition and works perfectly. All pages and cover are intact (including the dust cover, if applicable). Spine may show signs of wear. This is a long book as compared to most current
mystery/fiction go. Such books have to be written
extremely well, never dull. Third Degree is just
such a book. Mr. Isles developes very strong characters engaging in real, and sometimes frightening activities.

Is this Iles?
A sorry excuse of a book from a fine writer. You will be trying like the devil to find yourself caring for either of the main characters, a husband and wife, who are both so shallow you will be left very disappointed. Self centered characters who apparently care not a bit about the children in their lives . I have enjoyed many of Iles books and they are page-turners but I could not really even get the feeling I was reading one of this author's books. Rather smutty content that has not been needed in his other writings also. An author I generally go out and buy without reading any reviews disappoints this time.
