Seller's Description:
Very good in very good jacket. Cloth in dust jacket, very good, jacket a little toned and soiled with half inch tear to rear panel, inscribed "For Terry from Ruth"--from the collection of poet Terry Stokes (author of "Crimes of Passion, Poems" Knopf, 1973 and other books). Krauss was a great children's book author, several of whose books were illustrated by Sendak; she also collaborated with Crockett Johnson, Remy Charlip, Ellen Raskin, Marc Simont, and a few others. This is one of her few books for adults. Uncommon signed!
