Front hinge of vol. 3 is cracked at half-title page, which has a crease at bottom corner. Corners and spine ends rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Boards exposed at tips. Covers have light surface wear. Gift inscription on blank second page of vol. 1, dated Dec. 25th, 1889. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple.
