Delightful little story and great illustrations
This book is the author's first book--she'd done some magazine work, and I believe this is one of those. The illustrations by William Pène Du Bois are terrific. It's a brief but charming tale of a family who wants their tea, but finds a tiger sitting in their (enormous) teapot. The different family members each try to persuade or bully the tiger out. Whose approach will work? This funny little story is a nice lesson in manners. I don't have the dust jacket, but the boards are printed in a nice tiger stripe.
