The Story of a Remarkable Life
This is a GREAT book! I couldn't put it down! At times you feel like you are sitting in your living room hearing a very good friend recount details of their life and lessons learned.
There will be tears and there will be laughter!
McPherson begins with her childhood, discussing all three of her marriages, her dissapearances and her theology.
Sister Aimee is a GREAT writer, I can only imagine how incredible it would have been to hear her speak live! You can understand when reading this book how she could have attracted all the crowds she did.
Her book is poignant, open, honest and engaging. It reads with an excitment and fastpaced passion that her life must have contained.
I highly recommend it, especially to those interested in what she had to say about the rumours floating in the newspapers about her disappearance and lawsuits.
She attempts to put these rumours to rest with a thoughtful and engaging account of the details.
If you are a person of faith you will be inspired by her devotion to Christ and her passion to bring people to him.
By the end of this book I felt I had finally read a book which earned it's spot on my bookshelf as well as into my heart.
