Inscribed to title page by the poet 'Alan Twynam, from John O'Hare', with four additional poems dated 1952 and 1953 ('The Old Invader', 'Drinking Song', 'Aftermath' and 'Once I Knew a Tavern'), apparently clipped from the humanist journal 'Freethinker'.
