This book was hard to put down, I kept running back to it until it was done! Then, I read it again. It is a fascinating account of unfortunately a little known episode of Norman history. So much has been written about the Norman Conquest of England, it is a shame that so little has been the focus of this far more incredible conquest. Definitely worth it!!
