Good+ Complete 2 volume set. Folio 12.5" x 16". Full brown flexible leather bound covers are worn at extremities but clean and in good+ condition. Spines are cocked. Bindings are tight. Marbled end sheets and paste downs clean and very good. There's a large but faint damp stain to the front matter of volume 2 that stops before the title page and barely affects the frontispiece. Pages of both volumes show very modest signs of handling but overall clean and in very good condition. Volume one contains text with numerous illustrations, plus numerous plates including half-tones on india paper, photogravures (both b&w & color), and typogravures (b&w & color). Volume two contains music with numerous illustrations.

Short tears at the spine extremities of a couple parts. A bit of rubbing, some sunning along the spines. Just a bit of light bumping at corners. A bit of light staining on the rear of part 1.
