Illustrated with folding facsimile letters and a tissue-guarded frontispiece portrait of Margaret Fox. The odd bit of spotting, though a largely clean and tight copy overall. A very good to near fine copy of a scarce title. Sabin 25373; Not in Arctic Bibliography. See George Corner's excellent biography of E. K. Kane for a discussion of Kane's relationship with the "spirit-wrapper" Margaret Fox and the publication of this book, which was produced after the death of Kane and includes some letters of mourning and condolences in the latter portion.
