The Last Days of Dag Hammarskjold
This book has exactly the same text as the previous book by the same author ~ Arthur L. Gavshon ~"The Mysterious Death of Dag Hammarskjold" ~ the only differences are the title and the addition of two useful maps and plans at the back of the book.
There are no photographs of the crash site or wreckage in either book.
For the serious researcher this book is useful, but one needs to be able to see the texts of the official enquiries by the Rhodesian Federation and that of the UN and any other reports and statements made at the time together with photographs taken at the scene by the official NR Police photographer, the Post Mortem Reports by the Pathologists and the report of the Ballistics officer.
Most of this information is not available to the casual researcher.
There is continued speculation and belief in conspiracy theories are rife, and several different individuals been said to have claimed responsibility for the death of Dag. Hammarskjold.
