Seller's Description:
Very good- Octavo, 333pp., illustrated. About very good in the publisher's navy cloth. Spine ends frayed, inner hinges tender, but holding, and general darkening to the boards. Still a better than usual copy of this scarce volume, which discusses a number of biblical themes, though also includes a chapter on Ras Tafari, along with an emphasis on the influence of early Christianity in Ethiopia and East Africa. The author, Peterson, was an influential Adventist minister. For nearly two decades, he was the "head of the Negro Department" of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Reprinted in 1946, this first edition is considerably scarcer.
