Dr. Skousen does an incredible job of telling the story of Adam and Eve down to Abraham in a scriptural referenced, truthful way. I'm not sure why their have been gospel scholars or others who have criticized the work of Dr. Skousen. This book brings the history of these great patriarchs to life, like no other book I have read. I would recommend "The First 2000" to the Gospel Doctrine teacher or the avid scripture student.
