Original maroon padded leatherette with gilt lettering and decoration on front cover and spine. A bright tight and clean copy. Contains a list of all known North-west passage expeditions and a comprehensive bibliography on p. [447]-505. A wonderful reference book and although it has been revised in a different format this is the much better quality production and contains material not in the revised edition.
