In depth, informative

Claire Donovan has studied the DeBrailes hours, and this is an "up close and personal" description of a very important English book. If the DeBrailes hours were not the first English book of hours, they certainly were *among* the first, and Claire Donovan's book gives wonderful information, and lots of illustrations.
