I ordered this book because I love Rosamunde Pilcher novels. It really brought the books I've read to life with its wonderful photographs of the areas that inspired the author to write about them.
I've also read a little about her life and how she came to be a writer and the book includes some family photographs.
A book to keep for ever and for dipping into when you're feeling a little low.

Will Sweep You Away
I love this book more for the beautiful photography than anything else, and I purchased it to use it to paint watercolor landscapes with. The photographs of the scenery makes me feel that it is almost too beautiful to be real. It's a beautiful book and will sweep you off to a place you've never been to , but want to return to again and again. It's absolutely enchanting.

Exceptional insight to Rosamunde Pilcher's life
As you read Rosamunde Pilcher's books, you can almost smell the scones on the scrubbed table and hear the sound of the sea. In this book, "The World of Rosamunde Pilcher", one can exactly see where the stories take place, the kitchen setting, the gardens she speaks of. I was so excited when I received this book and opened it to find where Ms. Pilcher lived when she penned some of these beautiful stories. To see the scenery of Scotland, Porthkerris, and the seaside make the books come alive even more. She shares some itimatcies about her own life and family as well. I would recommend this book to all Rosamund Pilcher fans.
