An arrangement for children taken from the author's 1834 work "Children of The Rhine". A retelling of the tale of Reynard The Fox wherein a friendly dog brings the fox into the fold of animals who live harmoniously together. Very good, gilt still clear, cloth a bit dusty with some spine fade and two small spots of loss to the rear gutter. Scattered foxing throughout. Frontis tissue guard lacking.
