Heard the author interviewed and wanted to read her books. This is my first one. She's a lifelong geomancer and dowser from Australia, now living in Ireland. Water is sacred, she says. It's a living entity with spiritual qualities. Her book is divided into four parts: Waters of the Earth - Waters of Power & Mystery - Waters of the Sky - Restoring the Waters. Enlightening info, with stories and plenty of references. Combines ancient scientific knowledge of nature with some equally ancient and highly effective practices for storing and conserving water in arid climates. As an open-minded American meteorologist/climatologist, she introduced me to some fascinating concepts that aren't factored into modern weather forecasting models at all (as far as I know). I'm exploring and studying new references and smart, classic (old) ideas from this book. Recommended this book to several friends.
