It will appeal to all readers who like to dig into a good novel, but especially will appeal to those who love great classical piano music. It's also a good historical perspective on the events surrounding the Hungarian uprising against the former Soviet Union, back in 1958. Although it is a romantic novel, it does remain true to its historic and classical music theme; thus it is so much more than a mere "romance"story . Mortman is a very educated author; her novels are based on history so that the reader learns at the same time he/she is entertained. I feel that "Wild Rose"s one of her very best.
