Corners bumped, minor soil on cloth, some fading around spine label. Text is tight, clean, crisp and apparently never read. Consists of addresses at the meeting, in which Whitney is eulogized and his numerous contributions to the field highlighted, followed by appencies which include the original memorial letters (in Italian, French, German and English) of European colleagues, and a chronological bibliography of works by Whitney.
