not what you'd expect
I was very disappointed in this book. I was attempting to obtain a book that would give useful information for a story I am writing and I was very disappointed to see that the majority of this book deals with film. What I was looking for was actual legend and lore of the werewolf and being an encyclopedia I thought this would have what I needed. I was very disappointed in this book dealing with more movie werewolfism and other non werewolf information than what I thought it would include. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they were interested in movie facts and other non essential information.

The Best Source
This is the best werewolf book on the market. This is a large book condensing hundreds of years of werewolf history. The author is most serious in his writing. There is no poking fun, but instead the werewolf is given a serious look. This is an excellent book for research or for fun.
There are tons of black and white photos. Plus there are in the back of this massive book a list of werewolf books and films organized by year. A great addition to anyone's collection.
