Lee in the actual Lee Bedroom upstairs. - At the time, they think he is just a living historian playing the part of Lee. Little do they know...- We filmed a documentary of the home in October of 2003 (Robert E. Lee actually visited the home in October of 1867!) and we made a short film about this story at the same time, and by the same name, entitled The Welcome Guest of Avenel.- It was during the making of this film in the Fall of 2003 that we actually photographed the very fully materialized form of the woman known as the famous White Lady Ghost of Avenel on November 1, 2003.
