Indeed, he should study it hard, if he would ecome roficient in the Art of Farriery, and not rely implicit y u on other people's pre scriptions for the cure of any allege disorder, which have been composed for the most part without any such prepa ration. From this neglect, also, 3 mptoms of one disorder are confounded with those of anot er, when the roposed reme dies can not ossibly effect the cure. If he e imbued with the proper t irst after knowledge, be his station in life about the horse what it ma he had best to comply with the advice strenuously ur e at the very outset, to examine the internal parts of dea horses, as often as Opportunity presents itself, which, in the neighbourhood of large towns and hunts is frequent enough. For this is the manner in which 1 was myself mainly instructed; as well as by noting 'down whatever then appears worth of observation, con useted with the previous disease of t e deceased subject.
