The book was unique - imagine a woman passing herself off as a boy and fighting in the Civil War in order to get home to Charlotte. It is very well written - could hardly put it down - as a matter of fact, I enjoyed all 4 books in the series

very good book
I would recommend this book and this author to everyone. The author writes so that you feel you are there and see and feel all that happens. Very interesting book !
