This is the true life story of Clark Bigelow Stocking, he was born on September 18, 1839 Saranac, Ionia, Michigan and died on June 2, 1934 Los Angeles, California and he is buried in the Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, California. He was the son of Jared Stocking and Lucy Ann Bigelow. He tells his story in this book. I can add much more, he was my GreatGreat-Grand Uncle.
