This is a beautiful tale of how the world was in the ancient times you almost feel as if you were there. Armand being the young teenager when he was taken with the dark trick has survived without a true master to guide him. You will love and hate Marius during this journey and find that Armand wasn?t as bad as we thought when he took over the coven under the city. He finds himself remade many times during his five hundred year journey. This is a wonderful book that I would recommend to anyone and most Anne Rice fans are loyal and will read everything that she writes because they are all a huge hit and never a boring story.
