More than a dozen fascinating--some rare--photographs give an extra dimension to the book. About the Author Michael Kaye received his M.M. in opera from the New England Conservatory. He has served on the artistic staffs of opera companies in Boston, Chicago, Cologne, San Francisco and New York.
