Meanwhile, Jonas (Dennis Haysbert) learns that Molly (Regina Taylor) lost their life savings in a real-estate scam and confronts her about it. Molly, desperately needing cash to care for her aging mother, reluctantly agrees to recruit a soldier, Jeremy Erhart (Daniel Wisler), away from the military for a private firm that pays big money for referrals. Jeremy's lonely and unstable girlfriend Crystal Burns (Summer Glau) has a one-night stand with Mack. When he calls off the affair, Crystal causes major problems for the Unit. Tiffy covers for Col. Ryan's wife Charlotte (Rebecca Pidgeon) after she sees her driving erratically and discovers pills in her car. Unfortunately, Tiffy's good deed gets her into trouble with the law. At a political rally, Tiffy defends her views on warfare and is offered a job with a legal clinic, even though her politics drastically differ from that of her boss Wilson James (Jon Hamm), who begins to fall in love with her. Bob Brown (Scott Foley) joins the CIA for a covert mission that could put Jonas' career in jeopardy, causing Brown's loyalty to be questioned.
