This novel is one of the best that I have read in a long, long time.
I was a huge fan of the series and dissapointed when it ended. So I was thrilled to see this book available.
If you don't know the series, you will still enjoy the story. It explains what happened and is easily understood.
A must for fans of the Tribe. Or stories like A Hunger Games.
Highly recomnended. By my sister too, who rates it her favorite since Harry Potter!
Can't wait for the next novel in this series of stories. AJ Penn has done an outstanding job.

Outstanding
I love post-apocalyptic stories (and TV series) and got this at Christmas.
It's a fantastic read, full of adventure, and continues the story from The Tribe tv series, following Amber and the other survivors as they build a new world following the death of the adults.
With twists and turns, some loveable new characters, the book has a great ambience and atmosphere - you really feel like you are there (well I did anyway).
Even if you've never watched the series on tv then I'd recommend this imaginative escape into a different world.
I honestly couldn't put it down and the book has been passed around my family to read.
I only wish it were longer and am looking forward to the next instalment.
