Excellent resource
This book is written in a style that is easily read for both those who may be students of history as well as those who are simply interested in the history of the Templars. It provides not only chronological accounts of the acts of the Templar order, but also provides frequent references to historical people and events that gives the reader a better grasp of the context and insights into the cultural environment. This is especially important given the fact that it is critical to understand the political and legal factors, the roles of the French monarchy, the Catholic Church and the public attitudes toward the members of the Templar order.
