Kearsly, 1777. 18th Century trial for Assault & Battery. "Joseph Stacpoole, at Dartford, in the county of Kent, on the 17th day of August, one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five, aided and abetted by William Gapper and James Lagier, unlawfully and willfully, made an assault upon and shot at one John Parker...the defendants were found not guilty." Very scarce with OCLC listing only 9 copies.
