I'm sitting here mewing with these de dum, de dum dames. Thirty-four next year is no longer young, not yet mature, is a dangling nowhere age. I need a man. Am in manhunt mode. I have tried to dismiss this urge, taken time out with yoga and celibacy, joined the tennis club and ended up in a ladies four and six pounds over-weight. Doreen: There is no law of nature to say you automatically love your children. Sara is seven, my only child and I have never liked her, let alone loved her. Not even from day one...
