Purpose of the Book There are a number of reasons I felt a calling to write The Theology of the Holy Spirit. Purpose of the Book There are a number of reasons I felt a calling to write The Theology of the Holy Spirit. The first reason is that I believe that many churches in today's society are teaching Jesus, instead of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I felt a need to bring to life the Diety and the ministries of the Holy Spirit. Secondly, there are many different translations of the Bible. Most of the translations are done to update the language or style of writings over the years. I believe that the King James version is the most reliable translation. For that reason, all the Scriptural references, unless otherwise noted are of the King James Version. Thirdly, I believe that divorce is occurring far to easily and often, and most of the time without regard to hurt and damage to the children of the marriage. Thus I have included in Appendix A, some techniques which can be used to build a happy marriage. Author's Biography: I was born and raised in Marmaduke, Arkansas. I was drafted into the Army during the Korean Campaign, this is how I came to meet and wed my wife who was living in Northern Virginia. I worked 8 years for the White House. When the Vietnam War started, the Army Signal Corp., a world wide command needed logisticians. After a few months in the Washington D.C. area, the Command was moved to Fort Huachua, AZ. I was in Vietnam 4 times and and other Asian countries. I later finished 37 years Sevice at Ft. Ritchie, MD. Martha spent much of her time raising our 4 boys.
