The book that comes with this set is a smaller version of one that I already own, and is worth the price of the entire set alone. Jane Lyle's now-discontinued book, "Tarot" taught me my most valuable lessons and has spot-on interpretations. This Tarot set is cute with its purple silk cloth and pretty deck of cards, but the cards are old-style with plain pip cards, and not as functional for a beginner as the Rider-Waite and others.
