The book was an extremely fun, entertaining, heart-warming collection of true stories about a family?s adventures in caring for wild animals and their goal to return the animals to a life of self-sufficient freedom. It was often ?laugh-out-loud? funny. An enjoyable read for all ages. I grew to know the family members through their stories and learned about various animals with them. Months later, I found myself chuckling about one of their many true-life comical escapades. I enjoyed re-reading the book! I felt like I was visiting with my old friends and their animals, the George family.
