As a keen tap dancer I found the Tap Dance Dictionary valuable..explaining a multiplicity of tap dance steps ...they are all clearly explained and described with appropriate counts and are easy to understand All the steps are set out in alphabetical order, Alot of the steps will be familiar to tap dancers but the book also details many antique and unusual steps...A note of caution though...this is American and different names are used for the same steps used in England. eg A flap ( in the book ) is called a "tap step " in England..
Furthemore the book contains lots of historical facts and anecdotes about tapdance and tapdancers...
There are only a few books on Tapdancing, this one is one of the best
