Seller's Description:
Near Fine in Very Good jacket. First edition. Slight wear at the extremities, near fine in a near very good dustwrapper tanned on the spine, and with a couple of small chips near the crown. Nicely Inscribed by the author to the well-known Ohio poet: "Hollis Summers, faithfully, Caroline Gordon." Despite Gordon's consistent presence at or near the center of several important mid-20th Century literary movements, her signature, and particularly her inscribed books, are very difficult to find.
