Original hardcover binding with minor fraying to spine extremities and slight shelfwear, soiling, and spots of staining, and slight darkening to the spine. Illustrated by a frontispiece and eleven in-text illustrations. Rear endpaper has been removed. Much of the text appears to have been taken from the works of Tomek and Palacky.
