Excellent account of early Edison hydro projects
This book is an excellent companion book for "Iron Men and Copper Wires" also written by Bill Myers. Both are accounts of the Early Edison Company. It is a fascinating account of one of the greatest hydroelectric projects in the West. The foresight of the developers has allowed our Western electricity to be very renewable and sustainable whereas these projects would be blocked by environmentalist protest today.
Photos and documentation are excellent in this first-person account.
