This is the best book for learning about the origins and mythology behind the present-day internationally-recognized constellations. It is thorough yet concise. The illustrations are excellent. It's a shame that this gem is out of print -- it really deserves a place on the bookshelf of anyone interested in stargazing and its connection with earlier civilizations -- the most accessible book of its kind.
