I decided after years of reading them in paperback to collect this series in hardcover for permanent ownership. This is a fun set of books to read over and over again (with a good deal of time between readings). The chronological and published order differs, and this novel is (chronologically) #3 in a set of 10 or 11 novels and one short story. They can be read as individual novels with no loss of understanding, but reading them in order adds a level of involvement. These are "keepers" in my estimation.
