Very imaginative. I came to this book because on the DVD commentary for "Futurama" Matt Groening said he'd been influenced by it and by this author in general. I can see how. Nobody's quite a good guy or a bad guy. The future's not particularly better or worse than the present. It's just as exaggerated from our point of view as the early 21st Century would probably seem to somebody from 200 years ago. A corny, clever send-up of class, materialism, relationships, and language. I enjoyed it a lot.
