Plates from engravings, lithographs, photographs; folding maps. Red cloth lettered in gilt, top edges gilt. Very slight rubbing to some spine ends. Light fading to most spines, else a fine set. Exceptional printings of important contemporary accounts of the exploration & settlement of the Southwest. Includes the index volume to the series which was sold only to those purchasing complete sets.
