Sarah Brightman's The Songs That Got Away delivers what the title promises: a collection of 14 of Brightman's favorite songs that are more obscure to the general public. These little-known show tunes include works by Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Noël Coward, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and other great songwriters, making this album worthwhile not only for Brightman fans, but musical theater historians as well. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi

This CD is truly a gem, containing a lot of little gems inside -- such as Meadowlark, If I Ever Fall In Love Again, Bel Sogno Di Doretta, If Love Were All, and Half A Moment, to name just a few, sung so delightfully by Sarah Brightman. These songs deserve not to be lost, and I'm so glad she made this delightful CD and included them in it. Any chance of The Songs That Got Away 2?
